Client: Edgewood Health Networks
The Brief:
Edgewood Health Network wanted a versatile bank of lifestyle images that could communicate the care, professionalism, and humanity of their work across multiple facilities. I photographed at Bellwood in Toronto, an inpatient addiction and mental health treatment centre, and at Guardians Gateway in Peterborough, which supports military personnel, veterans, first responders, and frontline healthcare workers facing trauma and recovery challenges. Each facility has its own focus and tone, and the goal was to create images that felt authentic and approachable while still polished for use across communications.
The Approach:
To respect the privacy of patients, I hired actors to recreate scenarios that reflected real-life moments within the facilities. At Bellwood, I focused on capturing interactions in common areas, therapy rooms, and quiet spaces, with lighting designed to feel soft, warm, and welcoming.
